The personal information of our customers is important to 'TOTODISK' (Hereinafter called “the Company”).
The Company advises how and why the personal information provided by our customers is used and what measures are taken to protect personal information. When the Personal Information Handling Policy is revised, the Company shall publicize the same through website public notices (or individual public notices).
This policy is implemented as from 2, August, 2011.
1. Items of Personal Information Collected
The Company collects the following personal information for admission to membership, consulting, and application for services, etc.

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Company utilizes personal information for the following purposes.
① Contract performance regarding service provision, and settlement charges for service provision: Provision of contents, procurement and settlement of charges, shipping or invoicing, financial transaction/authentication & financial services
② Member management: Identification for membership service, individual identification, Prevention of illegal use by illegal user & unauthorized use, confirmation of admission intent, age confirmation, complaints handling, notices
③ Utilization in marketing & advertisement: Development & specialization of new services (product), promotional information delivery such as events, provision of service & advertisement posting according to demographic characteristics, understanding access frequency & statistics about use of member services
3. Retaining & Use Period of Personal Information
In principle, the collection and use of personal information after the purpose has been achieved to destroy the information without delay. However, the following information for the reasons set forth below, during the period are preserved.
① Retained item: Log-in ID
② Grounds for retention: Confirm withdrawal in case of illegal use
③ Retention period: Permanent
In addition, when it is necessary to retain information under the provision of related laws & regulations, the Company retains member information for a set period.

4. Procedure & Method for the Deletion of Personal Information
In principle, after achieving the purpose for collecting & using personal information, the relevant information will be deleted without delay. The procedure & method of for deleting this information shall be as follows:
① Deleting procedure: After achieving the stated purpose, information entered by a member to gain membership admission, etc. shall be moved to a separate DB (in the case of paper, a separate filing cabinet) & will be deleted or expunged after being kept for a certain period (cf. keeping & use period) subject to internal policy & other related laws & regulations.
Personal information moved to a separate DB shall not be used any purpose other than the original purpose unless under for legal reasons.
② Deletion method: Personal information kept in electronic file form shall be deleted using a technical method that will make the record unrecoverable.
5. Provision of Personal Information
The Company shall not disclose the personal information of user to a third party other than the person itself. However, if a user consents in advance, or if an investigative organization demands the information is subject to the provision of laws & regulations or subject to procedures & methods set under laws & regulations for the purpose of investigation, an exceptional will be made.
When the Company commissions the provision of a specific service to a service job cooperation company, personal information necessary for the provision of the service may be provided to the service job cooperation company after the consent of user has been given, & such a commission fact shall be specified. A service cooperation company shall not use or provide to a third party the same for any purpose other than the one it has been commissioned for regarding the collection, handling, & management of the provided personal information of a user, & when achieving its commissioned purpose, the personal information of a user shall be immediately deleted or expunged.
6. Commissioning of Collected Personal Information
The Company shall not commission the collection or handling of information of a customer without the consent of the customer. Hereafter, when such a necessity arises, we shall notify the customer about such a commissioning and the commissioned job contents, and shall obtain prior consent, if necessary.
7. Rights & Exercise of Rights of User & His/Her Legal Agent
A user may refer to or modify his/her registered personal information at any time, and may request the termination of admission.
Personal information may be directly perused, corrected, or withdrawn after completing the principal confirmation procedure(to refer to or to revise personal information, go through Personal Information Revision; to terminate admission (or to withdraw consent) go through Member Withdrawal).
Or if you contact the personal information manager by fax, telephone, or e-mail, the same shall be done without delay.
When you request the correction of errors in your personal information, the relevant information shall not be used or provided until the completion of such a correction. Also, when wrong personal information has been already provided to a third party, the result of such a correction shall be notified to such a third party without delay.
The Company treats personal information terminated or deleted at the request of a user as specified under “Keeping or Use Period of Personal Information Collected by the Company,” and it treats the same not to be perused or used for other purposes.
8. Matters regarding Installation, Operation, & Rejection of Auto-Collection Device of
    Personal Information
The Company operates cookies, etc. that stores and finds your information from time to time.
A cookie is a very small text file sent to your browser by the server used to operate the website of the Company, and shall be stored on your computer hard disk. The Company uses cookies for the following purposes:
① The purpose of using cookies, etc.: Providing targeted marketing and customized personal services through analyzing access frequency or visiting times, etc. of members and non-members, learning about the tastes and tracking traces of users, and learning about the participation level and visiting frequency with regard to various events, etc.

9. Complaint Handling Service regarding Personal Information
You may report all personal information related complaints occurring during you are using the service to the Personal Information Manager or department in charge. The Company shall make every effort to respond quickly and adequately to any such complaints or queries.
